John Muir Elementary School Highest Ranked School in Berkeley

California's API Rankings were announced this week. It was good news for John Muir School which has risen steadily in the rankings over the past four years. With an overall score of 849, Muir now ranks as a 9 among all elementary schools, and a 10 among similar schools. 10 is the highest possible ranking. Congratulations to parents, staff, and students for their hard work!
Nancy D. Waters Visits

Nancy D. Waters will visit the school this week. She will return to help in the classroom, catch up with students, staff, and parents, and spend a few days reconnecting. On Thursday and Friday, she will be substitute principal at another elementary school in Berkeley.
